William Brittelle & Aaron Roche in Soft Soft Loud: Future Shock

A taste of Brooklyn’s boundary-pushing classical music scene will be transported to Fremantle for one-night only when revered musicians and neighbours William Brittelle and Aaron Roche perform Soft Soft Loud: Future Shock, a Perth International Arts Festival exclusive.

Brittelle is a composer of vivid pop-influenced electro-acoustic music. His work is characterised by the melding of complex rhythms, formal structures and the visceral power and appeal of pop rock.

His songsmith countryman Roche is known for effortlessly weaving together threads of contemporary composition, American folk traditions and avant garde noise rock in a refreshingly unpretentious way.

Led by Artistic Direcor Matthew Hoy, the pair will join forces with an ensemble of Australia’s finest musicians to bring to life a vibrant, virtuosic and genuinely compelling performance which transcends the typical classical concert experience.
